The famous American screenwriter, film director and actor Woody Allen revealed new details on his film which will be filmed in Paris this summer. He in particular confirmed the participation of Carla Bruni-Sarkozy, France’s First Lady, in the feature film which title will be Midnight in Paris.

Owen Wilson (Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian, Marley and Me), Rachel McAdams (Sherlock Holmes, The Time Traveler’s Wife), Marion Cotillard (Nine, Public Enemies), Kathy Bates (The Blind Side, The Day the Earth Stood Still), Tom Hiddleston (who is also working for the superhero movies The Avengers and Thor and the moment), Michael Sheen (The Twilight Saga: New Moon, Underworld: Rise of the Lycans, Frost/Nixon), Corey Stoll, Nina Arianda, Kurt Fuller and Mimi Kennedy supplement the distribution of the film.

This sentimental comedy will follow a family which travels to Paris for business reasons. A young couple will see its existence transformed by this stay. The film celebrates the great love of a young man for Paris and explores simultaneously the illusion which people have that a life different from their is better. This is what we know so far.

Letty Aronson, Jaume Roures and Steve Tenenbaum produce the feature film within the framework of an agreement for the production of three films between Gravier Productions, the company of Allen, and Mediapro. This last company is the same one which financed Vicky Cristina Barcelona and You Will Meet a Tall Dark Stranger, his more recent realization which will be presented except competition to Cannes.
