A Lost Actor Joined the Distribution for Deathgames

Daniel Dae Kim, one of the popular actors of the Lost TV series, has just been recruited to play in the action thriller Deathgames which will be produced for Motion Picture Corporation of America. Kellan and Lutz Samuel L. Jackson already form part of the distribution.

In the new motion picture, the character played by Lutz is takken by a sadistic promoter (Jackson) who forces him to be a modern gladiators in games where the fighters brawl until one of them die for the enjoyment of a public on the Internet.

Kim will play the part of another kidnapped man, an artist who is also Master in kendo, a martial art. This ability will be invaluable for him when he fights for him life and that of his wife.

Jonah Loop, a former special effects specialist in the (who was on A Perfect Getaway and Collateral) will work for the very first time as a film director on this project. On the next month, the filming should start in Louisiana.

Tony Giglio, Michael Hultquist and Robert Martinez are the scenario writer for the motion picture. It was also re-touched by the new director.

Daniel Dae Kim has just finished the filming of the sixth and last season of the Lost series. He will make in particularly a short appearance at the sides of Matt Damon in the film The Adjustment Bureau this autumn. He also plays a part in the pilot of the remake TV series Hawaii Five-O for CBS.

Robert De Niro Will Give the Counterpart to Bradley Cooper in The Dark Fields

The actor Robert De Niro has just signed an agreement with Relativity Media to give the counterpart to Bradley Cooper (Valentine’s Day, The Hangover, He’s Just Not That Into You) in the thriller The Dark Fields.

In this motion picture, the story will follow a writer on the straw (Bradley Cooper) which is initiated with a supposed top secret substance that can multiply by ten the intellectual faculties of a human being. He will try out financial and social success suddenly but will discover well rather quickly that drug has unexpected side effects. De Niro will play the part of a brilliance tycoon of the finance which will track the character incarnated by Cooper.

The filming must start next May in Philadelphia.

The feature film will be carried out by Neil Burger (The Illusionist). The Dark Fields is inspired by a homonymous novel written by the American author Alan Glynn and published by Bloomsbury in 2003.

The scenario was adapted by Leslie Dixon (Hairspray, The Thomas Crown Affair) which will also co-product the project with Scott Kroopf (Breach).

De Niro recently finished the turning of three projects: Little Fockers, Machete and Stone.
