The bodies were found in 1999 by an American team at 8290 meters of altitude. We never succeeded to determine if Mallory really reached the top and if he died at the time of the descent. Two missing cameras could have cleared up this mystery. Experts from Kodak had estimated that in the event the discovery of one of the device with his film, they would be in measurement to develop it so as to produce images of printable quality. If Mallory really reached the top, he preceded Edmund Hillary of twenty-nine years.

Mallory is famous for his answer to the question: Why do you want to conquer the Mount Everest? He had quite simply answered: Because he is there.

The scenario was written by Townsend, Mark Skeet and Matthew Faulk.
