Kevin Bacon Joins Steve Carell in a Comedy

The actor Kevin Bacon has just joined Steve Carell, Julianne Moore (recently seen in Chloe), Emma Stone (recently seen in Zombieland and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past) and Ryan Gosling in a comedy without title for the moment produced for Warner Bros.

John Requa and Glenn Ficarra (I Love You Phillip Morris) will direct this feature film according to a script written per Dan Fogelman (Bolt).

The story line will concentrate on a man whose wife (Julianne Moore) wishes to divorce. In order to save his marriage, he will urge a coach of astute life (Ryan Gosling) to transform it.

Kevin Bacon will play a colleague of the woman, an alpha male who has an extracurricular relation with her.

The feature film is produced by Denise Di Novi and Carrell via its production company named Carousel.

The filming should start this month.

Kevin Bacon had to complete the filming for the action thriller Elephant White in Thailand last month. This feature film, carried out by Prachya Pinkaew., also stars Djimon Hounsou. Let us recall that Bacon collected a price at the SAG Awards for his interpretation in the historical drama Taking Chance premiered on HBO 2009.

The Comedy Morning Glory Pushed Back Next November

Paramount Pictures decided to push back the release of the comedy movie Morning Glory, a film starring Harrison Ford and Rachel McAdams, from July 30th to November 12th, 2010. The studio affirms that they prefer to launch the feature film closer to Christmas.

The decision came in answer to a projection test of the movie which also stars Diane Keaton, Jeff Goldblum and Patrick Wilson.

In Morning Glory, McAdams plays the role of a young woman who aspires to become television hostess. She will try to save the morning show by taking the control of the competition which was created between the two television hosts. Ford incarnates one of the two television host whereas the part of the other presenter is played by Diane Keaton. Goldblum will lend its features to McAdams’ boss whereas Wilson plays the role of his in lover.

Morning Glory is carried out by Roger Michel (Notting Hill, Changing Lanes) according to a scenario of Aline Brosh McKenna (The Devil Wears Prada).

For the moment, Morning Glory is the only film being addressed to the female customers which will be launched before and during the Thanksgiving weekend in the United States.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt Replaces James McAvoy in a Comedy About Cancer

The actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt ((500) Days of Summer, Killshot, Stop-Loss) agreed to replace James McAvoy in a comedy which will approach the topic of cancer. The project, without title for the moment, will be carried out by Jonathan Levine (The Wackness) for Summit Entertainment and Mandate Pictures.

McAvoy left the project, which filming started a week ago in Vancouver, for circumstances out of its control specifies an official statement published by Summit.

Gordon-Levitt will give the counterpart to Seth Rogen (Zack and Miri Make a Porno, Knocked Up), Philip Baker Hall, Anna Kendrick, Anjelica Huston and Bryce Dallas Howard.

The scenario writer Will Reiser took as a starting point his own experience to write the storyline. Reached by the disease, in the middle of his 20s, Reiser managed to overcome cancer during the years. This last also acts as delegate producer on the feature film.

The project, which already had the title I’m With Cancer, will be produced by Seth Rogen, Ben Karlin and Evan Goldberg.

Gordon-Levitt could be seen on July 16th in Inception at the sides of Leonardo DiCaprio, Marion Cotillard, Ken Watanabe, and Ellen Page.
