Cam Gigandet (29 years) we are accustomed to associate with the evil vampire James that we’ve seen in the fantasy adventure “Twilight” and Anna Paquin (29 years) can been confused with the heroine Sookie Stackhouse with that she gives life to the small screen the TV series “True Blood”, but this time the two young actors will be paired in a drama inspired by a story independent real, which has nothing to do with vampires, werewolves and other supernatural creatures of darkness.

Written and directed by Shana Sosin (“Girls! Girls! Girls”, “The Convention of Dying”), the drama “Free Ride” places the action in ’70s Florida, where it establishes a single mother and abused (Anna Paquin) together with her two daughters, intended to leave behind the past marked by violence and start a new life with another boyfriend (Cam Gigandet).

Distribution also includes Drea de Matteo (“The Sopranos”, “Desperate Housewives”), Liana Liberato (“Tresspass”, “Trust”), Ava Acres (“Five”, “Weeds”), Jeff Hephner (“Hellcats” “Easy Money”) and Brit Morgan (“True Blood”, “The Middleman”), Shana Sosin aiming to start filming in October 2011 in Sarasota – Florida, as the editors of Cinemablend notes.

For the first time in her career, Anna Paquin will assume the duties of producing through her recently established production companies Scampia, in collaboration with her husband Stephen Moyer, Hallam Larkin and Susan Dynner.

Cam Gigandet (“Easy A”, “Burlesque”, “Priest”, “The Roommate”) will be followed by the North American, with effect from 14 October 2011 the police thriller “Trespass” directed by Joel Schumacher, the role of a thief who has an affair with the character of Nicole Kidman, while Anna Paquin films currently the drama “Straight A’s” directed by James Cox.
